On the road to recovery

This week has been a week of progression. I have felt much better in myself, building my strength back up and getting back into my routine. In the back of my mind because the sickness has happened twice I have been questioning myself when I have been getting the odd tummy twitch or not feeling 100% thinking, is it going to make a third appearance! Luckily when it last happened I stayed off the Imodium and other medication and tried to make a real effort to ensure i got rid of the bug fully by drinking just boiled water. Time will tell but I am feeling much better.
I have had a really good week this week. The girls are fantastic! They really are developing by the day. Ciara is now starting to turn over onto her front a regular basis and is constantly smiling whenever she sees me or a Nikki. From sleeping through the night from 7pm to 7am after a couple of months, Ciara had been waking up around 4am resulting in us feeding her. We have now started feeding her again at 10:30pm and at the moment seems to be doing the trick as she is sleeping till 7am which is good. I think she is going through a growth spurt at the moment and combined with putting her onto solids I think she is just a little bit unsettled at the moment. These last 6 months have passed so quickly and I really cant wait till the better weather kicks in so we can enjoy some good times out playing in the garden.
I had some really good news at work. The team had got off to a really good start to the year and the targets started again as of P2 (February). We had a focus on Relentless and as usual the targets were briefed. The team had a cracking period and came 1st in the region and 2nd nationally so I was really pleased and proud of the team for their performance, they really did do fantastic job.
The gym has been put on hold since I have been ill. This has mainly been due to the fact that I just haven't felt 100% and I have been really busy at work. I'm going to make a real conscious effort next week to build on the weights and do some running.
Just a short update this week. Catch you next week.
